The latest version of the Lamborghini Aventador, the SVJ,  strikes down the previous record  at the Nürburgring by lapping the green monster with a time of 6:44.97 minutes.

This is not only significant because it means it will be one of the most performance based production automobiles in the world, but also because it keeps the raging bull company back on the podium of fastest lap. Previously the Porsche 911 GT2 RS held the title and prior to that it was the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Like a game of tag the yet to be released and completely camouflaged Aventador SVJ is on top once again. We’ll have more details on the car as soon as its specs are official but by the looks of it Lamborghini’s new ride will have monster horsepower.
